Your eyes then attempt to fixate and to correct this perceived rotation and jump side to side (nystagmus). Secondary merry-go-round mimicking feelings result in nausea and vomiting. Any movement of the head or body makes it worse. Dizziness only improves once the ear heals or the brain compensates.
